Innovation is the engine that has always fueled our growth. At the center of the group beats a technological heart made up of laboratories, researchers, and expertise that work every day to anticipate market needs.
Our research and development laboratory, covering more than 1,000 square meters, brings together a team of 40 researchers and specialized technicians. This is where the formulations of the future are born: higher-performing, more sustainable products that respond more precisely to application requests.
For us, innovating does not mean chasing trends, but building lasting solutions. It is a commitment that translates into constant investment, collaborations with the academic world, and the vertical integration of our production processes.
R&D
Research is the foundation of our way of doing business. We constantly invest in new formulations, materials, and processes, with a dedicated laboratory that develops tens of new products every year. This is where chemical knowledge is transformed into concrete solutions, capable of meeting the technical and aesthetic challenges of our customers.
Technological firsts
Our innovative capacity is measured in concrete technological firsts, often ahead of regulatory and market developments. The transition to water-based formulations is today the heart of our research. Alongside this are the development of special high-performance lines - such as Firespirit, dedicated to fire-retardant finishes - and of resins and gelcoats in bio-based versions. Every innovation is created to offer a real advantage to those who choose our products.
External collaborations
We believe in open innovation as an accelerator of expertise. We collaborate with the academic world, including the University of Padua, with which we have launched a doctoral project in industrial engineering dedicated to applying artificial intelligence to our research and formulation processes. Being open to dialogue and cross-pollination with cutting-edge research allows us to evolve more quickly.

The difference between a good product and an excellent result often lies in how it is applied. For this reason, application expertise is a fundamental pillar of our offering.
We make available to our customers a wealth of knowledge built in the field: application techniques, colour management, optimization of coating systems. We do not limit ourselves to providing the solution, but we transfer the knowledge needed to use it to best effect, through training, assistance, and dedicated tools.
It is a support that enhances the customer’s experience and ensures that the product’s performance is fully expressed, in every production context.
Academy
The Sirca S.p.a. Academy is the place where we share our know-how. Through technical training programs targeted at customers, applicators, and partners, we pass on the skills needed to get the most out of our coating systems. We believe that shared knowledge is the best way to guarantee quality results and to build lasting relationships over time.
Tinting systems
Colour is precision, but also passion. Our tinting system makes it possible to develop and accurately reproduce a wide range of shades and effects, guaranteeing consistency and repeatability in every formulation. This is our Colour Passion system: the meeting of technology and chromatic sensitivity, to respond to any requirement, from standard colours to the most particular requests.
